The 2007 R-Class is a 4-door, 6-passenger luxury sport-utility, available in 4 trims, ranging from the R350 to the R63 AMG.

Upon introduction, the R350 is equipped with a standard 3.5-liter, V6, 268-horsepower engine that achieves 16-mpg in the city and 21-mpg on the highway. The R63 AMG is equipped with a standard 6.2-liter, V8, 503-horsepower engine that achieves 12-mpg in the city and 16-mpg on the highway. A 7-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims.

The 2007 R-Class is a carryover from 2006.
